Fine line tattoo in Wrocław

Fine line is a tattoo style built on delicate single-needle black lines — soft shading and gentle fills only come in when a design needs them. I’m Nastia, and fine line is the heart of my work. I tattoo at a quiet studio in Wrocław, Pszenica Tattoo, and I’ve been at this since 2018. So if you’re looking for a fine line tattoo in Wrocław — small lettering, a flower on the ankle, a slim botanical piece along the spine — this page walks you through how the style looks and heals on skin, and how we’d get your piece done together.

What makes a tattoo fine line

The term gets thrown around a lot on Instagram, where it ends up meaning anything small. Here’s what it means in my chair.

One fine needle

The whole style rests on a single fine needle. It lays down a thin, even black line rather than a thick outline — which is why fine line looks more like a pencil drawing than a bold poster.

Delicate black lines first

Black linework is the foundation of every piece I do in this style. The spacing and weight of the lines do the work — nothing has to be bold or heavy for the tattoo to read well.

Soft shading only where it belongs

Not every fine line piece is pure outline. Where a design needs depth, I add soft shading and gentle fills — but never enough to bury the drawing.

What fine line does best

Lettering, flowers, soft botanical pieces and small symbols sit most naturally in fine line. If you want realistic imagery at a small scale instead, that’s my micro-realism work.

Why a fine line tattoo keeps its shape

The first thing people ask me about thin lines is whether they hold up. They do — done well and properly cared for, these tattoos last a lifetime. There are three things we’ll go through here: the drawing, the placement and the sun.

The drawing comes first. Every piece I tattoo is custom: it starts from your own idea and references, and I draw a personal sketch before the session so we can adjust it together instead of making it up on the spot. If a design feels crowded at the size you want, I’d rather simplify the sketch than cram it in.

Placement is next, and a fine line piece can go anywhere you like. It sits beautifully on the forearm, spine, ankle, collarbone, ribs and shoulder, and I’ll tell you honestly how your design will look in the spot you have in mind. The final call is always yours.

Then the sun. It’s the main reason fine line fades early, so SPF 50+ on healed work is the best protection you have. The rest of the routine is short and simple — a Second Skin film for the first few days, gentle washing, a thin layer of healing cream twice a day, and two weeks away from saunas, pools, open water and tanning beds. You get an aftercare card after the session, and the whole routine is on the aftercare page.

I tattoo full-time in Wrocław and travel for regular guest spots in Austria and Germany — I post the dates and host studios on Instagram. Consultations and sessions run in English, Polish or Russian, so nobody has to bring a translator to talk about their own tattoo.

Fine-line is the heart of my work — delicate black lines as the foundation, with soft shading and gentle fills when a piece calls for them. Lettering, flowers, soft botanical pieces and small symbols designed to last.

Questions people ask before a fine line session

Will a fine line tattoo blur over time?
Done well and properly cared for, fine line tattoos last a lifetime. The sun is the main reason they fade early, so SPF 50+ on healed work is the one habit worth keeping.
How is fine line different from a regular tattoo?
I work with a single fine needle, so the image is made of thin black lines instead of bold outlines and heavy fill. Soft shading and gentle fills appear only where a design calls for them.
Can a fine line tattoo be really small?
Yes — it works especially well for small lettering, flowers, ornamental patterns and subtle symbols. Send me the idea and roughly how big you want it, and I’ll tell you what’s doable at that size.
Where on the body does fine line look best?
It sits especially well on the forearm, spine, ankle, collarbone, ribs and shoulder, where a thin line has room to breathe. Let me know the spot you have in mind along with the design, and I’ll tell you honestly how it will look there and whether we should turn the composition to follow the body. The final choice is always yours.
Does a fine line tattoo hurt?
Fine line is worked with a single fine needle, so most people find it very manageable.
Can I bring my own idea or references from Pinterest?
Please do — every piece is custom. Send your idea and references, and I’ll draw a personal sketch before we tattoo — then we adjust it together until it feels right.
How much does a fine line tattoo cost in Wrocław?
It depends on the size and the placement. Send me the idea, references and a rough size on Instagram, WhatsApp or Telegram, or by email, and I’ll reply with a price range and the next available dates.

Send me the idea for your fine line piece

Write to me on WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram or by email. A short description, a few references, rough placement and size are enough for me to come back with a price range and the next available dates. A non-refundable deposit holds your date and comes off the final price. The earlier you write, the better — dates fill up, especially before a guest spot. Not sure what to ask yet? Start in the chat on this page and we’ll go from there.
